Hello Thurston families,

The end of another great school year is approaching.  This means the yearbook has been sent to the printer, and the DVD is near completion.  The last day to purchase yearbooks online is May 15th.  We only ordered 700 yearbooks and we have over 700 students in our school, so if you don’t want to be left out please, buy your yearbook today.  Go to the TMS webpage and look for the yellow square on the left side and click to buy your yearbook full of memories - or just click here!  If you aren’t sure whether you have purchased a yearbook, check the display case in front of Mrs. Tejchman’s room.

We are busy preparing for Open House next Thursday, May 17^th from 6:00pm – 7:30 pm.  Staff and students are very excited to showcase projects they have been working on all year!  It is our expectation that students remain with their parents and provide them with a personal tour of their classrooms.  Don’t forget to visit the PTA hosted Book Fair in the Library, check out the wonderful pieces of art in Room #5104, view our awesome gym, and stop by our incredible Black Box.

For your convenience we are providing a Shuttle Service that will run from 5:30pm -7:45 pm with pick up at the District Office parking lot.  Our fabulous jazz band will be grooving from 5:30 pm – 6:00 pm, while our 8^th grade promotion committee will be hosting a baked goods sale.  If you are still hungry, the 8^th grade promotion committee will also be selling delicious chili and pizza.  We look forward to seeing you next Thursday, May 17^th.
