Laguna Beach High School Dance

Laguna Beach Dance Production consists of five classes offered during the school day, and a performance class offered after school. Dance 1 and Advanced Dance 1 help to introduce students to the love of dance and help to build a strong technical foundation. The other classes are part of the Capistrano-Laguna Beach Regional Occupational Program and offer more advanced instruction to students in Dance 2. Both our Contemporary (intermediate/advanced) and our Classical (advanced) classes build on the student's existing technique and the Advanced Classical class offers more specific instruction in ballet. The ROP Performance class meets after school and puts on two main dance productions per year in the Artist's Theatre. In addition to the main dance concerts, Laguna Beach Dance also puts on the other performances out in the community and more intimate dance shows that are held in the dance room.
