  • The Cupcakes for Cancer Club is holding a drive for new or gently used backpacks and books for victims of Hurricane Harvey in Houston Texas.  Collection boxes will be located in the front office and the library. 
  • Volunteers are needed at this year’s Boo Blast at El Morro on October 27.  Stop by the Activities Office to sign up.
  • Volunteers are needed to help with the Laguna Beach Triathlon on October 8th at Crystal Cove.  For more information about this and other community service opportunities, stop by the Activities Office.
  • The Homecoming Court Election is now open online!  Seniors only may log on to voting4schools.com and choose the Homecoming Court through Thursday at lunch.
  • Student who attended Breakers Advance this past summer - There will be a lunch get-together this Thursday in room 63.  Bring your own lunch but dessert will be provided.
  • The Brush and Palette is holding their annual benefit concert this Friday Night in the Artist’s Theater at 6:30PM.  Student tickets are only $5 and available at the door.  Performers include:  Mr. Shapiro, Addie Briggs, and Chloe Bryan.  See fellow students perform and support your school newspaper!

  • The Freshman President Election is now open online at voting4schools.com/laguna.  The election will be open all day online to Freshmen only.  Login instructions will be available in your Advisory period.  If you have any trouble logging in, stop by the Activities Office during lunch.
  •  All students who participate in extracurricular activities and or athletics:  There will be a mandatory meeting in Dugger gym tomorrow morning at 7:45am. This meeting is mandatory and role will be taken. We will be covering new rules and regulation and how they could impact participation in extracurricular activities. Our new Principal Dr. Allemann will be speaking to the group.

  • Students THIS IS IMPORTANT -  the Deadline for dropping a course is THIS COMING MONDAY, September 18th.
  • If you plan to drop a course, please fill out a Schedule Change Request Form and submit your form to your counselor by THIS MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 18TH or you will receive a Withdraw/Fail grade for that class.  Again, the deadline for dropping a course is THIS COMING MONDAY, September 18th.
  • Club applications are due in to the Activities Office by 2:45 tomorrow, Sept. 15. No late applications will be accepted.

  • Mr. Rush from the District Tech  Department will be in the library on tomorrow before school to assist any students with chrome books, laptops or internet connection issues.
  • Reminder that Monday is a Back to School Night.  We will be on a minimum day, school starts at 7:30 am and ends at 12:10 pm. The cafeteria will be open before school and at break.  It will not be open for lunch.   Please see the bell schedule on line or posted in your classroom for the Min Day Schedule.
