Hello Thurston Families!
 
Time flies when you are having fun! We have completed the first semester and grades will be mailed home this week. Continue to have your child check Aeries on a regular basis.

Ø      Dr. Jerry Weichman - Wednesday, February 10th 6:00 to 8:00 - High School Artists Theater
This important event has been put front and center on my update because you need to clear your calendar to hear Dr. Jerry Weichman Ph.D. We were fortunate to have Dr. Weichman speak at a PTA Coffee Break and he is back by popular demand!  He is a clinical psychologist from Newport Beach and will provide valuable information for all parents. This is a must see!! The attached flyer also has important information regarding upcoming Parent Education Opportunities. Click here for more information.
Ø      ANGEL BASEBALL - Friday, April 2nd
SAVE THE DATE! Angels vs. Dodgers April 2nd at 7:00 pm. Purchase a ticket for $10.00 and half of it comes back to Thurston PTA.  What a wonderful way to support our school and have a family night out! Click here.
Ø      6th Grade Oral History Luncheon
I want to give a huge congratulation to all of our 6th grade students for completing their Oral History Presentations this week. I’m sure all of our 7th and 8th grade parents have fond memories of this wonderful experience. Along with Gay Pivaroff and a great group of parent volunteers, the last three days were extremely successful.
