LBUSD BOARD OF EDUCATION HONORS CLASSIFIED EMPLOYEES
Superintendent Sherine Smith proudly announced the 3rd Annual Classified Service Awards Recognition Ceremony. She remarked, “Tonight we are privileged to recognize our long serving classified employees, which is becoming an honored tradition in our District. Classified employees are often unsung heroes. Our employees serve in the classroom, the office, the kitchens, and the grounds of our school district, all to ensure the well-being of our students. Organizations benefit from a stable and trained workforce. Employees who dedicate many years to an organization are knowledgeable about their responsibilities and provide a sense of continuity and familiarity to our students and families. We are truly fortunate to have such committed employees in LBUSD.”
With heartwarming descriptions of each one’s unique contribution, Assistant Superintendent of Instructional Services Nancy Hubbell, Principals Chris Duddy, Ron La Motte, Joanne Culverhouse, and Don Austin introduced the employees from their respective sites.
