This year student transcripts will reach their postsecondary destinations through, a secure, efficient and environmentally friendly electronic system, Docufide by Parchment. Docufide is a full Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) compliant application that facilitates student’s request for school transcripts and provides verification of the delivery to students. The ability to track the transcripts electronic delivery is a key benefit that LBHS Registrar Donna Todd believes will be a help to students as they navigate the college application process. Victor Guthrie, LBUSD Director of Educational Technology and Information Services explains, “The flexible and secure design of the Docufide system provides us with an efficient method to deliver student transcripts worldwide. It also provides the school with valuable analytic data of requests and destinations, which will assist the counselors to better meet the needs of their students.”
Information about the new transcript delivery system was included in the LBHS Guidance and Counseling team’s Senior College Presentation.
To order high school transcripts electronically, students can create an account through the LBUSD website, www.lbusd.org, on the LBHS website via the Counseling tab and access the Docufide–Request for Transcript link. Information about the Docufide system is available at www.docufide.com.
