Class Descriptions

ESL: English as a Second Language (ESL) classes are designed to develop English language skills of adults who are either non-English speaking or have limited English Speaking skills.  Through participation in the ESL program, students will increase their ability to participate in the community, attend college, pursue a career, and help their families.  ELS classes provide multiple levels of ESL instruction from basic literacy to advanced.

Community Vocational Training Workshops: Provide participants with basic information, tools, and resources to help navigate essential vocational readiness practices including, but not limited to: technology skills, proper oral/written communication, teamwork collaboration, and a positive work ethic. Vocational workshops are designed to allow participants to gain the necessary training needed to confidently pursue their personal vocational goal.

Cybersecurity: Prepares students for a career in cybersecurity; learn digital security skills used in the networking and information communications industry.

Culinary Hotel Hospitality: Prepares students for a career in the Culinary and Hotel industry; includes hands-on instruction and skills training to prepare you for an entry-level position in the Hotel/Restaurant industry

GED Preparation: Prepares students to obtain their High School Diploma equivalent by providing personalized academic support and materials.
