Industry Partners

Laguna Beach Unified School District believes that meaningful partnerships with local businesses and industry make a real difference in students’ lives. These connections give students a clearer sense of direction, purpose, and possibility as they think about their futures.

For many professionals, partnering with schools is also an opportunity to give back, share hard-earned experience, and help shape the next generation of talent. By connecting with students early, you can spark curiosity, build confidence, and guide them toward careers they may not have otherwise considered. This partnership can take many forms:

Participate on an advisory committee: Share your voice and expertise by serving on a Career Technical Education (CTE) advisory board. Help ensure student learning aligns with real-world expectations and provide valuable input on curriculum review.

Create real-world learning experiences: Engage and inspire students by providing meaningful Work-Based Learning experiences that bring classroom concepts to life. Opportunities may include guest speaking, mentoring, hosting field trips, facilitating job shadowing, or offering internships.

Support Student Success: Make a meaningful impact by participating in career fairs, donating equipment or materials, sponsoring scholarships, or hosting teacher externships to keep instruction current and relevant.

Invest in Students: Connect with motivated, career-ready students and help launch their professional journeys.
