Yadhira Rojas serves as the Teacher on Special Assignment to support English Learners. She works with staff to provide English Language Development for limited-English speaking students through teacher collaboration, open communication, student identification, and progress monitoring. She supports individual sites and teachers in the development of high quality curriculum and instructional practices to ensure the success of all English Language Learners. Ivonne Cortez-Redard serves as the Community Liaison for Laguna Beach Unified School District. She helps facilitate opportunities for parents to help their children succeed and achieve excellence. LBUSD has partnered with a variety of groups to help support families and their needs.
