Michael Conlon

On behalf of Laguna Beach Unified School District, welcome to Top of the World Elementary, home of the Dolphins.

My name is Michael Conlon and I joined the TOW family in 2014. This is my 15th year as an educator and in my previous roles have served as principal at Olivewood Elementary School in Lake Forest and assistant principal at Oak Middle School in Los Alamitos, I’ve also been in the classroom as an elementary school teacher in the Long Beach Unified School District.

I received a Master’s of Education in Elementary Education and Teaching from National University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Johnson Wales University. Additionally, I hold an Administrative Services Credential and a Multiple Subject Credential.

I trust that this website will provide you the information you need to become familiar with some of the programs and opportunities available for all our TOW students. Please contact me or any of our support team if you need more information at 949-497-7790.

Educational Philosophy

Dr. James Comer's quote, "No significant learning occurs without a significant relationship,"  captures the rationale behind TOW's focus on building meaningful relationships among staff, students, and parents.  At Top of the World, we care so deeply about fostering a rigorous, yet nurturing, learning environment where all students reach their potential.  We'd love to have you join the TOW family and experience all the amazing things TOW has to offer.
