Featuring the TMS 8th Grade Drama/Chorus students, The Cat in the Hat and all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters spring to life onstage in Seussical JR., a fantastical musical extravaganza. This three-part series will offer tools for obtaining an enriching education for your children, healthy family development, and the creation of love bonds. Please note, workshops will be conducted in Spanish, English interpretation will be available.

LBUSD is one of 373 school districts in the U.S. and Canada being honored by the College Board with placement on the 9th Annual AP® District Honor Roll. Since 2016, LBUSD has increased the number of students participating in AP while also increasing or maintaining the percentage of students earning AP Exam scores of 3 or higher.

On November 26, the LBUSD began administration of the 2018-19 Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) Survey to gather feedback on the implementation of the district goals and state priorities. Parent, staff, and community input via the survey is vital to the development of data-informed goals and the evaluation of outcomes.

Thurston Middle School's 7th Grade Drama/Chorus students will present a reading of Alice in Wonderland this Thursday, November 29 at 3:30pm in the TMS Black Box. The reading runs approximately 45 minutes. Admission is free, although donations are welcome.

Laguna Beach High School Drama invites audiences to a performance of Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet at the Laguna Beach High School Artists Theatre beginning Friday, November 2 at 7 p.m. The production will feature the work of guest director Michael Irish, a 1999 alumnus of LBHS and the Park Avenue Players.

The Laguna Beach Unified School District offers English as a Second Language (ESL) classes to our parents and community members. Classes begin Thursday, October 4, 2018, and run through the school year.
