The Orange County Department of Education is gathering nominations for its annual Counselor Recognition Program.

Established in 2018, the awards program spotlights outstanding local school counselors and school counseling advocates who consistently go above and beyond to support students, staff, schools, and families. 

Nominations for 2022 are due by Jan. 28, and the winners will be announced during National School Counseling Week, which is Feb. 7-11.

Orange County School Counselor Advocate Award

This category celebrates individuals who advocate for school counselors or counseling programs. Examples include K-12 or community college leaders, superintendents, administrators, or others who support school counseling teams and the profession.
