Free college courses are available to students through Irvine Valley College (IVC) this summer. Dual Enrollment is a great way to get a jumpstart on high school and college preparation. The benefits of Dual Enrollment include:
- Earn FREE college units
- FREE textbooks
- Finish college faster
- Boost your college applications
Courses offered in summer 2023 are:
- SOC 1 - Introduction to Sociology
- COUN 1 - Academic Planning
Interested in enrolling in a college course? See the Summer 2023 Dual Enrollment course flyer for all the steps that need to be completed. Students must complete a Dual Enrollment Course Agreement form for the course and email it to Mr. Miller at dmiller@lbusd.org. Mr. Miller will not sign the IVC K12 form if students have not submitted the Course Agreement form.
