LBUSD board president, acting superintendent reach agreement on contract terms for board consideration
LAGUNA BEACH, Calif. – Laguna Beach Unified School District Board of Education President Dee Perry announced today that she and Assistant Superintendent of Business Services Jeff Dixon, currently serving as acting superintendent, have reached agreement on the proposed terms of a special services contract for the role of acting superintendent.
The contract is scheduled to be submitted to the full Board for consideration at its April 17 regular meeting. No action will be taken before that time.
“Mr. Dixon has taken on significant responsibilities as acting superintendent, and this agreement reflects the Board’s commitment to supporting him in that role,” Perry said. “It also provides opportunities for continued professional growth and guidance aligned with the Board’s expectations and the community’s support.”
The proposed agreement includes provisions related to his compensation and responsibilities during the interim period until a permanent superintendent is appointed. It also provides for professional mentorship and administrative support to meet conditions set by the Board.
