Laguna Beach Unified School District launches Season 4 of Inside LBUSD Podcast: Every Student, Every Day
New series offers a behind-the-scenes look at the people and programs supporting student success in Laguna Beach

LAGUNA BEACH, Calif. – Laguna Beach Unified School District (LBUSD) has launched Season 4: Every Student, Every Day of the Inside LBUSD podcast, offering listeners a more personal glimpse into the lives of LBUSD staff. Through friendly conversations between colleagues, the podcast explores how their unique experiences shape the essential work they do in supporting students.
In each episode, listeners will also learn about the district’s current programs and services, ranging from academic support to mental health and parenting resources. These discussions will provide insight into how LBUSD, in partnership with families and the broader community, continues to refine and improve its efforts to ensure every student has the resources they need to thrive.
“We see open, candid conversations as an essential part of our commitment to continuous improvement and the cycle of innovation. This season is about strengthening connections between our staff, families, and community while exploring how we can collaborate to enhance and refine our efforts in supporting student success,” said LBUSD Superintendent Jason Viloria, Ed.D. “This year, we're focusing on communication that helps parents stay connected to their child's learning, from foundational support in early education to navigating the challenges of middle and high school, so they can celebrate successes and provide support when needed.”
What to Expect
Throughout the season, listeners can hear about:
- Student Services: Learn about the programs designed to enhance academic performance and provide personal support for students at all levels.
- Mental Health and Wellness: Discover the mental health resources available to help students thrive both academically and emotionally.
- Community Involvement: Gain insights into the vital role that partnerships with local organizations play in enriching the student experience.
“Our goal is to help every student flourish, not only in the classroom but in all aspects of life. This podcast is an opportunity to highlight the dedication and care that goes into creating a nurturing environment where students can discover their strengths, persist through challenges, and thrive,” said Director of Social and Emotional Support Michael Keller, Ed.D. “Together with our staff, students, families, and community, we’re building a foundation for lifelong success,” he concluded.
New episodes of Inside LBUSD will premier on the last Wednesday of every month. The podcast is available for streaming on all major platforms, including: Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music, and TuneIn + Alexa. Episodes can also be streamed directly from the LBUSD website or downloaded for later listening.
